Line of Sight and Wood

Hello!

How do you handle LOS in Woods? I found nothing in the rules. If i missed something, forget the following lines

We use Wood bases and remove part of the trees if unit move into the wood for a better playability. Therefore you can't work out the LOS as with other terrain pieces.

One idea was

• if shooting unit and target are both inside a wood: 2" LOS and target obscured and in light cover
  
• if shooting unit outside and target inside a wood: 2" LOS into the wood and target obscured and in light cover, target invisible if mor then 2" from the wood edge
  
• if shooting unit inside and target outisde a wood: 2" LOS from shooting unit position to the wood edge and target obscured and cover depending on the terrain outside the wood.
  

LOS within woods is 5¨. It is written in the Kursk book, terrain chapter.

Can also be found in the Terrain chart inside Wacht am Rhein. When i started playing BG i used the rules for the LOS in woods from FoW V3. with 6" there very close.
