FOTR first game questions Empty FOTR first game questions

Having not played for about a year, todat we completed a weekend of FOTR 1500 points US Armoured vs Germans battlegroup. I will post the force lists later.....
A couple of weird questions and not sure we played them right but here goes.
1.FOTR " german only " counters . If the German player draws these does he decide who he plays them on or are they not counted?

2. A unit comes under artillery fire from 2 x 120mm mortars ( direct hit) and takes casualties and then is forced to take a morale check after the first 2 shells  of fire . They pass with a 6 and a call of duty is triggered . What can the inspired heroes do ?Fire at the enemy ???? Move away? If they move out of the original 10" radius  can they become targets for the second 2 rounds of fire. Are we doing it right and doing the shots in pairs?

3. We  have been adding the AP/ HE modifiers to all Fire even small arms is that right? End of the game we just noticed it doesn't specifically say that on the charts we were just pondering..

1. The German player can play all special counters except "Endkampf" as a "Beyond the Call of Duty" counter. See also page 37 of FotR.
2. All 4 rounds are fired together. Your inspired heroes can immedatly perform a order, interrupting the Artillery Fire Sequence, but even when moving out of the original area of fire, any allocated hits are still resolved.
3. The only modifier applied to small arms fire is "Firer moved (or will move) this turn".

Where is the smalls arms modifiers table then as it isn't in the mini rulebook..

No its only in the Hardback rules. It is: Small Arms,Mg's Autocannon and Flamethrower D6 Modifier

Hi,
Sorry for being dumb but which hardback are you referring as I have got Kursk, Overlord , Fall of the Reich and I can't see the small arms only modifier...in any of the tables..

Hi, Its in the newer hardback rule book. Only a few amendments rule wise. Here they are: No-hit modifier for aimed fire with HE shells when targeting units in cover. Observation modifier against units with sniper scout special rule -1 and the one already given in last message. Its on the QRF of the new rule book, maybe that's downloadable somewhere.
