Forward observer in 3rd scenario

This forward observer does not get the advantage of foxholes. Is this a design limit? And if so how do you protect him? The Russians really had it in for him!!

I understand from this forum that the hidden unit rule is a houserule and not an optional one.

Use the terrain to your advantage. A FAO's lifespan is short, war is brutal.

Otherwise, with enough foxholes for an entire infantery platoon, there are certainly enough holes avaible to acommendate two extra men. Shouldn't unbalance the scenario.
