Off-table shot Empty Off-table shot

Tue Aug 28, 2018 2:48 pm
hi
in some scenarios and/or army lists there's the possibility of being supported by 'off-table AT shots' (whether they be 88's or 75's or 76's...)
these hit on a '6' (and then penetrate according to range/gun size)
question; do you need to spot for an off-table shot....? I suppose yes...?
unless, being only 1 shot per turn (where with an 'open fire' order you'd normally have 2) it's already 'calculated' into this '6'...?
last weekend our group played the 'St Eduoard Sanatorium' scenario from the Wacht am Rhein module, and the question came up.... we settled it by deciding you need to spot also for an off-table shot....
but just to sure...; any thoughts?
thanks
Edwin

You need to spot for the shot, as for any other aimed shot.

Also it is not 1 shot per turn. It is 1 shot, period.

ok, thanks; as we thought, and did
and I know it's only 1 shot if you 'buy' it from the army list, but in this scenario for example it is '1 shot per turn'
in some other scenarios it is 3 or 4 or 5 … shots per scenario... so it depends...
