Open Fire order

When giving a team an Open Fire order, does the unit have to use the same type of fire both times, or could the first round be, say, Area Fire and the second round Aimed Fire?

You can use both types of fire. The order you have it is most effective. Try to pin, then if a casualty, moral test hoping for a rout/surrender order. Mostly I get the enemy to roll Beyond the call of Duty!

Choice is yours.

As Wingfield-Haze states 'Area Fire - Aimed Fire' is a particularly nice method given how the morale table works...
