IFV disembark during a shoot and track order......

Came up in a recent game. Didn't argue the point at the time, he was busy using his crying towel . So, proper question is can a IFV that is carrying passengers disembark at the same time it is using Shoot and Track order....

The Halftrack uses the Disembark order. It then moves up to its maximum Movemenet allowance and disembarks the passengers within 4 inches of its final position. You can choose not to move, but disembark the passengers right there and use a Shoot action for the halftrack.

Quick answer - No it cannot.  An IFV could fire its main gun and disembark, or move and disembark as Johan said - but Shoot & Track ATGM is a double activation order and it's pretty clear that whatever is firing and tracking the ATGM, be it vehicle or an infantry ATGM team, can do nothing else that turn.
