Basing infantry unit

a question for based infantry units they are based in individual or by several figurines (2, 3, 4 5) on round or rectangular base

Depends on scale - my stuff is 1/144 and based with 2-5 figures on a 30mm square base (originally for Peter Pig PBI2/3), just use casualty markers.

Our club guys use individual 20mm figures or teams of 2 such as LMG.

And for 15mm You use which soclage because i have fow armies

Be aware that having a unit with 1/2 the frontage of its opponent can be an advantage in certain situations.

We play in 15mm and use FOW bases. No problems with these

However you want pretty much any system works as long as you have some way of recording casualties.

I'm probably going the route of using sabot bases, when I can actually find people to play the game with

My intention for 15mm is to have infantry on FOW style bases but Renedra.I will have equiv of a 2 sections on singles to use as "loose change" to aid with casualty removal.I think 15mm troops are just a tad too small IMO to have all on single bases.

This is what I am doing with my 15mm Troops. I have them based in twos or threes and then I have some single based figures to use when I take casualties. I think it makes the figures look more staggered and ‘natural’ as they get irregularly grouped. Individually based 15mm Soviets would drive me crazy
