Moral Test, abandoned softskin vehicle and transported units

We had a situation were an already pinned truck, transporting infantry, had to make a moral check. The result was a one -> abandoned. Was happens with the transported unit? Does it leave with the truck driver oder does it embark and fight on?

I asked this on FB and got this answer. Remove crew as if de-bused 4" away but pin them. Its rare, but if the crew sods off, then it kinda stands to reason the passengers would be rattled.
