82nd Airborne Recce Jeeps

Just finished my 82nd Airborne Recce Jeeps. Crew are AB and jeeps are EWM. I am in process of painting the grunts but they are taking some time.

Nice Jeeps, although all pictures i know of the 82nd AB Recce Jeeps show them with .50cal MGs. Otherwise good attention to details like stowage, i especially like the extra ammo boxes.

They have .30 cals because thats what it says in the book Battlegroup Market Garden Page 68 Jeep reconnaissance team. You are right they did have .50 cals on the jeeps but I wanted to give the Germans a chance!!

One thing that is not in the book, there appears to be no bonus for being armoured. Either BR or amount of hits required, Piers can you help on this?

Unfortunaly the stat-line for the Armoured Jeep is missing in Market Garden. The armour upgrades changes the Jeep in an open-topped armoured vehicle with armour o all round and armed with a pintle mounted MG. Speed and BR remain unchanged.
