Counter-Battery Fire Result

Hello,
I have a question regarding the effect of a successful counter-battery mission. Please consider the following scenario:
1) Player A (Germans) request artillery fire fro an off-table K18 battery (198 point value) and fire for effect
2) Player B (Soviets) uses his counter-battery fire mission (10 points value) against it. The rolls a 4 and successfully pass the counter-battery check. Counter-battery mission is now used and spend.

Is the K18 battery now disabled for the entire game and cannot be used again? Or is only the one barrage without effect e.g. Player A can request fire from the K18 battery the next turn again?

Counter battery affects only that single barrage. The K18 battery in that case can continue to rain fire on their foes next turn.
Take into account, though, that the counter battery fire is available every turn until it succeeds. In you example it succedeed, so it´s spent.
