'Japanuary' 15mm IJA platoon

With 'Japanuary' all the rage on the Facebook page, here's a recently finished IJA platoon. All figures are Skytrex.

Can you please advise what you used for the basing as I would like to copy some if not all of it?

Thanks. Bushes are mostly lichen soaked in a mix of PVA, water and brown paint to stiffen it up. Then clump foliage is glued on. Lastly watered down PVA applied over the foliage with a dropper bottle to solidify it.

The other plants are from mininatur's range of flowers, with the flowers cut off......

Pools of water are clear acetate. There are some twigs from the garden and bits of the dyed and toughened lichen for logs etc.

The grass is applied with a static grass applicator, which is pretty much obligatory for covering a whole base in tall grass.
