Spring Awakening - Scenario 1

Couple of snippets from Warwick on the FB Group regarding the narrative campaign in Spring Awakening.
First up is the composition of the Assault Pioneer Platoon. While the campaign guide says you need FOTR you still don't have enough information relating to the platoon. What is missing is the HQ Section (Officer + 5). In addition each section should also have a minesweeper otherwise you have no way of clearing the Soviet Minefield.

Yes, you are right. You have to use the composition in BG Kursk to get a full Assault Pionier platoon composition. In FOTR you only have the composition of individual squads.
As you said, you are lacking the HQ composition.
Assault Pionier Platoon for that scenario in Spring Awakening should be:
1x Command squad (6 men, officer, mortar spotter)
3x Assault Pionier Squads (5 men, assault troops, 2x demo charges, minesweper)
3x MG squads (3 men with a MG42)

It´s what I would do, comparing points value between BG Blitz, Barb & Kursk
Nonetheless I would consult Warwick personally about that.

I’ve consulted with Warwick. He confirmed me the platoon organization as mentioned above.
But, yes, you were right, they were not assault troops. Also note that the MG teams are not “engineers” also.
