The sandbags are indeed greenstuff. Yeah, sure, I can do a tutorial on those, give me a bit of time though, going on a holiday for a week and it is a tad busy

Very cool. Never played Gorka Morka but I did used to have a large WH40k Ork army (plus I still run a Orc Bloodbowl Team).

Well, it is more generic deserty stuff anyway, that way I can use it for 15mm as well as 20mm and 28mm. Anyway, need to give them a good clean to remove the dust and then basecoat them.
So tonight I did something a bit different.
One of the worst models I had the pleasure of assembling. Flash, excess metal between the tracks, mould lines, incomplete cast rack covering the engine. Rmoved the armour plates from the drivers area, sanded it down and replaced with flat plates from plasticcard. Britannia car passenger trimmed and modded as a driver (just needs some goggles). Added the missing horn next to the headlight.
Final details, then paint, and I have a new Barbarossa 37mm/50mm AT gun tractor.

Laurence: Belgian Vickers Tractor. Used as Beute. Read a article about one abandoned by German troops stationed in Belgium while retreating from the Canadians in 1944. I think this one will join my Volksgrenadeers and my Renault UEs can go to the Eastern Front.
More rocks.
Started to factoryline them as some friends have expressed interest in buying a set and well, I got all the gear out anyway, might as well use it.

I don't just paint Hstoricals, I also paint stuff I find at yardsales. I call it the 50 Cent Challenge - buy something in between 0 and 1 euro (or local currency) from Goodlwill or a fleamerket etc and make it look good.

Nice!
Which reminds me, I have a bunch of pseudo-Hawaiian mock-totem pole pieces I bought for the same reason. I really should do something with them.
