Flanking attack scenario

Hi there.

A question came up on our most recent game, regarding the flanking attack scenario deployment.

Is the flanking deployment zone reserved solely for scouts? Do the non scout troops deploy only from the designated deployment zone, or can they enter the table through both, the deployment and the flanking zones? Thanks for the help.

D6 units from your Battlegroup are already on the table, these may NOT be Scouts. These deploy in the randomly allocated corner which is the Main Deployment Zone.

Deploy all Scouts  in your Flanking Deployment Zone.

All your other troops, starting turn 2, deploy on your table edge UP TO 20 inch from their Main Deployment Zone Corner.


Perfectly clear wording. Scouts use the Flanking Zone, everybody else comes in through the Main Deployment Zone (or the area of your table edge up to 20 inches away from your Main Deployment Zone)
