Will's Marker Garden terrain - updated 9/5/18

As part of getting ready for the Battlegroup Market Garden weekend next month I've started on some extra terrain for the tables.
First off some barbedwire fences which are all new build, whereas the old Airfix windmill which, has seen some service over the years, has now been repaired and rebased. The aircraft base was just re-textured to match.

Looking good . I need to make some wire and flight stands myself. Was just looking at some old CD`s & DVD`s I have sat on the shelf . Wee aerials can`t be much on eBay either .

Some more rework, this time a very old ditched road and stream I created for a refight of Lutzen 1632. Finding it in the bottom of a drawer was a light-bulb moment - just the job for Hell's Highway. The ditch was reduced in size and the whole thing textured and painted. The stream has become a canal.
I used the idea from Olicanalad's Games of using woodstain on the water

Here's a picture of the original game
Obviously I now need to create bridges and more canal sections plus linking roads to Hell's Highway

All looks great, a windmill... go to really! The hide out of many an OP I'm sure.

Another batch completed and it was actually in use last weekend. It comprised more canals including bends, some road junctions and a pair of canal bridges.
Here's some close ups of the bridges, scratch built from Balsa.
A view of the terrain in action with a nasty FW 190 persecuting my poor Paras
