Im glad this is up and running so quickly. Formerly known as waveydavey on the Guild (after a Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer character) I thought I would stick with my proper name this time.

My account on the other site stopped letting me in ages ago for reasons I don't understand. Didn't matter too much as I have never actually used the Battlegroup rules despite owning them. But having made the transition to 6mm, I am actually going to get them to table for Easter. Thanks for setting this place back up.

Glad to see the community flocking back to the forum, been ages since I visited it at its former resting place, but now that things are settling down a bit should be here more often. I'm gonna try and dig out my old 20mm archived OOP pics in case that's a section we want to resurrect. Think I've got several of the Battlefield codes photographed.

I'm really glad this forum is up and running. Truth be told I think I broke the Guild Wargamers forum. Seconds after I registered on the site the site went down for good
Anyway hello, I''m new to Battlegroup, I just purchased the rule book and Tobruk and plan to play using 1/285 scale minis. Can't wait to get my miniatures painted and play.

Great to have somewhere else to talk BG. I play in 20mm (my first wargaming love) but have recently been convinced to build a 15mm Italian force for Tobruk. I had given up 15s because I have difficulty seeing them for painting so have been chasing down painted figures. Lots of fun!

Tremendous work by everyone who has set this up, many congratulations. Although I don't have time for wargaming, since i am far too busy making figures, I have had a Guild-shaped hole in my life for some time now, and you have neatly filled it.
I am sure it will be as amiable and well-mannered as before.
God Bless it and All who Sail in it.....

Well done for setting up the new Guild Forum so swiftly!

Not so much a new Guild... that is dead sadly.
But I do hope we can keep the ethos and spirit alive and the sense of community that both the Guild, and Battlegroup, have fostered among an international group of gamers.
While this forum will always lean towards WWII and Battlegroup we are more than happy for anything to be shown off and who doesn't love pics of toy soldiers?
In short, it's a place for like minded souls to hang out and share their hobby online.
