Mortars (Medium / Heavy) count as which gun (clarified)

Hey dudes,

i found some differences in the Rulebook P. 33:
Medium Mortars
count as Light Weapons with HE rating of 4/4+. i.a. the count as very light guns vor movement

so for Area Fire the count as light guns (right?)

heavy Mortars
count as light Weapons??? with HE Rating of 6/4+. i.a. the count as medium guns for movement

so for area fire the count also for light guns?? i think the should count for medium guns

So far, in the Book "Overloard - Beyond the Beaches" P. 15

Medium  mortas:
count as light weapons . no extra text for movement

Heavy Mortars
the are light weapons with rating of 6/4 - no extra text

i'm irritated.
I think mortars should work so:

Light:
for arey Affect: very light guns
for movement: Infantry 5"/5"

Medium:
for Area Affect: Light Guns
for Movement: very light guns 3"/4"

Heavy:
for Area Affect: medium Guns
for Movement: light guns 2"/3"

what is your opinion?

The heavy gets more dice to roll...

argh, now i got it. i had an error in reasoning. cause heavy & light mortars can only fire indirect, i dont need the Area Effect Table, and dont have to look, it it is a light, medium etc HE
