HE and cover damage

Reading the FAQ it says "Any Aimed Fire with HE hits against a unit reduces its cover save by -1." Sounds reasonable, but is this cumulative? e.g. would a gun emplacement be gradually reduced from hardened to light to no cover after repeated direct HE hits? I can see this happening with heavy weapons (105mm+) but not smaller ones

Actually taht ruling was suggested by me some years ago.
The spirit is to use more HE fire in a direct role.
Rewmember is just for AIMED FIRE (no supression).
And no, it´s not a degrading effect.
