Panzer III Platoon cost?

The cost of the Panzer 3 platoon is 108 pts (9 BR) for 3 PZ3 G's. Yet a single Panzer 3 G is 35 pts (3 BR). So its actually cheaper to buy them individually. I know you would lose an officer and spotter. But in every other instance I've seen buying a platoon is usually a cheaper and more effective option?

I think you are right, must be a typo.

In Tobruk the same platoon costs 93 points. I would use these points.

Points don't always translate from one book to the next but there are some odd examples in Torch it has to be said.

Depends whether you think losing officer and mortar spotter is worth saving three points...
