Another question about reserves Empty Another question about reserves

Wed Mar 21, 2018 4:57 pm
When rolling for reserves, does the result include transport plus infantry passengers as a single unit or do they count as 1 for the transport plus one for each passenger team? For example, if I roll for 3 reserves, is that three 251/1s plus three rifle squads and three MG34 teams, counting as three units, or one 251/1 with a rifle squad plus MG34 team, counting as 3 units?

For Reserves only the transport teams count, not the passengers. So if you rolled a three you could bring 3 SdKfz 251/1 each with a Rifle Squad and a MG team.

But when determing which units start the game on the table, every unit counts, even passengers. So your 3 SdKfz with passengers would count as 9 units.

Brill, thanks for the quick response. I guess the selection of which units are deployed on table at the start of the game and which come on as reserves becomes even more critical.
