Nice white metal range, very fine, not nearly as chunky as most other ranges, so scale nicely with soft plastic figures if that's your thing.

Extensive German ranges, Allies slightly more limited, but that includes some nice options that up until very recently weren't seen anywhere else. Highly recommended.

So, I'm trying to amass a 20mm German AK and US forces and I'm not sure where or what to buy. I know PSC has some nice stuff, but their 20mm range seems a little limited (at least for North Africa 42-43) There are some great links above, but most seem to be in the other side of the pond. Any recommendations for US retailers?

I bought a couple Revell 1/72 kits, while nice, are WAY too fragile. Are there any plastic models that a re a bit more sturdy (other than PSC)?

Scibor,not much 20mm,but those they do make are truly superb figures. A good company in Poland.The Polish tank crews are ACE. They also make a driver set for the FtF Fiat 621.

If I might for once blow my own trumpet, AB now have their new DAK range in production, with 8th Army figures following fairly soon.The US Infantry is in Parson's jackets, which might be what you want for Tunisia. Available from Eureka USA.

Early War Miniatures - everything from obscure early war stuff ala Danes and Belgians to more conventional LW stuff.  Includes miniatures, vehicles, artillery and terrain (buildings. roads, earthworks).  Good service.  Buildings are cool but a bit fiddly to assemble.

Elhiem - known more for their moderns, but they have a great WWII range including US Airborne, SS, Panzer Lehr, FSSF, Red Army.  Again excellent service and superb sculpts (I have their SS, US Airborne as well as moderns).

They do some vehicles (mainly modern) but also do Trabants for all you modern players!

Armourfast - vehicles for those who want a cheaper alternative. Despite the models being more basic, I've seen these done quite well with the addition of stowage.
