Ammunition Load for Infantry and artillery Empty Ammunition Load for Infantry and artillery

I am confused. There is a resupply order that says you resupply infantry, guns and vehicles. However, I cannot find what the initial ammo load is for infantry and guns - can someone please point me to where this is in the rules please

Out of Ammo counter. I think it states out of ammo until resupplied.

Infantry and deployed guns have an infinite ammo supply........
until someone plays an out of ammo counter on them. Then you will find the resupply order useful.

Thank you, I missed the point about the out-of-ammo chit! However, it rather begs the question of why artillery doesn't have ammo given that artillery ammo is the biggest consumable and logistics burden (other than fuel) for any combatant

Because artillery generally has loads and loads of ammunition stacked by their guns. Same as AT Guns, which also have no limits. Tanks only have so much storage capability.

Artillery is almost always off table anyway, but even an off table battery can be taken out by the low ammo counter...... pirat

You cannot play "out of ammo" BR counters on an off-table battery.
