Very atmospheric. The picture characterizes the way I think of the desert with the vast open spaces and very little cover for infantry .Tobruk and this book are changing my interest in WW2 . Gone are the Cromwells and Panthers and income the Crusaders and Mk3s .And if you like softskins these are essential for desert survival and mobility .

Having now got my book , I ma quite impressed with it. Must have been a lot of work.
I don't want to comment on it too much until the overseas guys have received their copies . I don't want to spoil things for them. I have to say though the French will be a challenge to command.
