Soviets and SMGs Empty Soviets and SMGs

Hey there.

I'm building a soviet force and looking at the lists, I see that you can swap all rifles for SMGs. Is there a big advantage to this, seeing that they are irregulars and unlikely to assault? Tips and comments are more than welcome.

Good point, but you are forgetting that fire goes both ways and if someone is crazy enough to assault them (without pinning them first), they have double the firepower of riflemen when things get 'up close and personal'
