Presumably it includes the Americans - does it also update the Brits/Germans/Italian lists?

I'm also eagerly awaiting the release of Torch. From what I've heard the release will be around the Salute event this coming April in the UK. American lists should be the the book as well as updated army lists for most nations that fought in the desert. Can't wait to add it to my collection.

As a reminder of the question from ManderH, when does the pre-order start at PSC?

They will notify you normally in the form of an E mail if you are registered with them. They normally have some sort of draw for a prize as well. I would expect something to be announced within the current month . So it will be soon.
For me personally, its happening all too soon as I am still building up a couple of forces for Tobruk .

Pre-order could be up on Friday.

Hi, Taranis, not sure if there's anyone doing pre-orders in the US. I just ordered direct from PSC and had good service with my previous orders.

In fact, I've had nothing but great service from any of the overseas vendors, most of whom are members here and from the Guild (I keep wanting to refer to this site as the Guild... ) I think my average receipt time to here in Ohio is about 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 weeks. And most, if not all, have always added a little extra something in the package.

Thanks for the information! I've been looking at the cost from PSC and I see it's not as expensive to buy and ship as I thought it was. If stores in the states arent going to have a pre-order event I think I will order it directly. I don't want to miss out on the pre-order deal

Ordered.

With 9 Army lists that is one big book. I cant recall any previous Battlegroup book having as many army lists as this one.

Overlord had 12 I think...

More than that... Armoured, Infantry, and Airborne (well, Fallschirmjager...) for all three nations, plus two Beach Landing lists, Atlantic Wall and Panzer Ersatz... 13!

Yeah, went a bit mad on that one... too big for practical use. Hence, now returning as 2 books (eventually). Torch is a whopper... had to cut a lot of material (it'll follow as a pdf), too many countries keep joining in the war...

I've just ordered a copy

After doing a bit of deliberation , I have ordered a copy . As mentioned before it has probably come out perhaps a year too early for me as I don't want any distraction for my Tobruk project .
However I have always supported the series right from the beginning with the Kursk book and perhaps before that with GWs KGN book which started everything off and will continue with my undivided support .
I daren't even think of the consequencies of my hobby if this series of books had never been started.
I will order a second copy from my local shop at a later date as I always like having a prestine copy on my shelf as well.

I have a question though. So the release is April 14th at Salute. Is that the date the pre-orders are charged and start shipping as well?

That will depend on when PSC get it back from the printers. If PSC get it in time, they can start shipping a few days before Salute, but if things are tight (or PSC are very busy), then Salute will be the first chance to get your mits on it. (and mine)

If the past is anything to go by PSC do aim to get the orders out to land on your doorstep ( if in the UK ) in or around the Salute date . Obviously overseas deliveries will take some time longer.
