Luaz 967 and MTP
Tue Mar 06, 2018 4:53 pm
Thinking of NG Northag, there will be a requirement for a Luaz967 for the medical section of a Russian Regiment and MTP for the maintenance coy of a BMP regt. Any about?!

Assume you are after 15mm or 20mm - never seen a Luaz on my trawls through the standard ranges, haven't seen an MTP either - worst reply ever!
Googling the MTP-3 throws up a couple of typical contradictions, claims its a converted SU-122 conversion into a BRM-1 or is Object 483 based off a T54. The Luaz looks a bit like a stretched Iltis with a boxy bonnet - maybe the (clicky) S&S Iltis would be a start?
Imagine that a bit of conversion work is going to be needed. Im intrested to see what you dig up, I went for the more commercially avaiable early 80's scenario, but Im sure this sort of kit could turn up in 2nd echelon formations - probably a dead cert in the 3rd.
Good luck.

MTP was the ARV based on the BTR-50 chassis. The Luaz was like a little golf cart! Both found in GSFG formation throughout, MTP in the BMP MRRs.
