20mm A11 Matilda I

Does anyone field 20mm A11s in their B.E.F., and if so which manufacturer did you choose and are you happy with them? Thanks.

I do.
Millicast are superb but very expensive.
EWM (ex skytrex) are passable.

I can't tell which one is the Millicast . I am guessing it is the top picture on the grounds of the detail on the treads. Just goes to show what difference a good paintjob can do .

Thanks for those images.  I also think that the top image is Milicast, it’s so much better in every way than the bottom one.  In fact the website image of EWM’s current A11 offering is not as good looking as yours.  The tracks in particular are very “blocky”.  A suggestion elsewhere was SHQ’s model which does look better than the EWM one to my eye.

Just had a look at Milicast, and at just short of twice the price of others I’m afraid that I can’t afford to go down that route, pretty though they are.

I have a few of the SHQ Matilda Is, very nice.
