Close assault on a pinned Tank

So close assault against pinned infantry makes the pinned targets unable to fight back.

Does similar happen when assaulting a pinned enemy vehicle. Or is the same chart applied? I would think assaulting a pinned vehicle would be ideal.

I would say yes, this is only speculation, but....I always see pinned vehicles as the crew is distracted with repairs, fire or confusion so they wouldn't notice the assault and not to be able to defend themselves.

If you're close assaulting a tank you use the antitank grenades chart which does allow the crew to "fight back" in that you can lose one man in a failed attempt or can suffer heavy casualties by rolling a 1, even though the vehicle may be pinned.

Kinda dissapointing there isn't a +1 effect if the tank is pinned. Largely makes the AT grenades feel rather pointless. You might as well just spray area fire for no risk and almost the same odds of causing a negative effect on the tank.

Rules as written, you roll on the close assault table vs armor.
We have a little house rule that you roll on that table but with these mods:

+ 1 if open topped vehicle
+ 1 if vehicle is pinned
