US Airborne miniatures Empty US Airborne miniatures

Wed Dec 05, 2018 1:21 pm
Not new to BG, but have yet to build any miniatures in 20mm.

My question is, which are the best (readily available to UK) 20mm US Airborne miniatures.

Pretty sure other than colour the M42/M43 differences are minimal to non existent at 20mm

Looked at Adler Miniatures and like the look of Leon's miniatures, but are there others as good and that will match in?

FAA has a wonderful line as well as Elheim. I mix both in my '44 units.

I'd say Elheim, also you have CP/TQD.

I may be over fussy but try to have a platoon just from one source to keep a cohesive look.

I have one platoon of FAA from way back when they were still based in the UK, and another of Elheim.

You have to look at Adler Miniatures!! I love FAA figures but think Adler are fantastic.

I agree that Adler's line is terrific, but they are in later war uniforms and not in D-Day apparel.

@Nazrat

Other than colour, is there a difference between M42 and M43 uniform for paratroopers?

As far as I can tell there is a completely different cut to the later uniform.
