Hello, my name is Alejandro. I'm from Argentina and I usually play with Diego "Powermonger". It's a pleasure to be able to access this forum

Thanks for letting me on board! Having just purchased my first 3 BG books, and putting the finishing touches to the first WWII miniatures I've done in 11 years, with the unexpected demise of The Guild, this forum has cropped up with impeccable timing!

Cheers

No piddling in the deep end? Spoil sport.

Guess I'll have to get me some Battlegroup, see what all the fuss is about! Very Happy
Do love all things 20mm WWII though. Great to see all the talent here.

Battlegroup Q&A

on Wed Feb 14, 2018 2:21 am
Good to see this forum up and running. Guild member for many years. I kept a MS Word file of many of the Battlegroup rules questions (and answers) over the past few years. Hopefully I can use that archive to help restore some of the lost Guild Battlegroup forum information.

G'Day from Down Under!

on Wed Feb 14, 2018 7:24 am
I'm not sure if this is the form around here but I thought I just poke my bonce around the door and introduce myself before slinking off to delve in to the more arcane forums...

I'm Sparker, living in New South Wales. Joined the forum because I'm very interested in Battlegroup Northag, as I just can't get enough of Cold War armoured wargaming. I anticipate mainly using BGN in 20mm scale, as I use TY for my 15mm collection.

Obviously I'd like to make contact with any similar Cold War tragics living in the Southern Highlands/Illawarra/South of Sydney...

Anyway, good luck with the new forum, RIP The Guild, and see you around the Bazaars!

This is quite unique for me as it is the first time ever that I have been involved in a forum that's in its infancy. All previous forums I have joined were already well established.

Well done Piers .

Will Warwick be posting on here ?

It is fantastic that we have once again a forum for Battlegroup, where the authors (and also many veteran gamers) answer many, many questions. Although i was only a short time with The Guild, the community there was great. This ongoing support is very important, especially as in Germany many are switching from Flames of War to Battlegroup, meaning there are a lot of new gamers with a lot of questions. While some fellow gamers and i try to answer as many questions as possible in our German speaking FlamesofWar.de forum (which now not only covers FoW, but also Battlegroup and Bolt Action, and any other WWII rules),  there are always some questions, that only the authors can answer, so it is very good to have a place, where i can find those answers.

Many greetings
